According to KSC’s CEO, Zamzam 3 Mega-Module in Khuzestan Steel Company (KSC), which had commissioned in February 2024, by using Khwarizmi DRI reforming catalysts, reached its nominal production capacity.

According to Khwarizmi Public Relations, the nominal production capacity of Zamzam 3 DRI unit is 220 tons per hour. By KSC’s hard working technicians and managers, this huge plant reach to its nominal production capacity, 45 days before the expectations.

This large DRI unit with a production capacity of 2.2 million tons per year, has 6 rows of reformer tubes, each row contains 95 tubes and a total of 570 10.5-inch tubes, which are all loaded with Khwarizmi catalysts.
