Ihya Steel Foulad Baft Company can be considered one of the largest companies in the field of sponge iron production with a capacity of over 800,000 tons per year. Before handing over to the private sector, this company had 30% of physical progress, while before handing over to the private sector, 90% of the project had progressed and by the end of 2017, the first phase of this factory was put into operation. The second phase of this production unit has been put into operation with the annual production of 25 million tons of pellets.
The total investment for the construction of Baft steel steel restoration is 460 billion tomans for the first phase and 300 people will work in the first phase and 300 people in the second phase. The executive operation of this factory was started in 2086 in order to eliminate deprivation and create employment and produce iron products in Baft Kerman city and on a land of 612 hectares. This project was formed by Mahan Industries Development Company and Sanat Wa Madan Bank and currently it has created employment for 300 people directly and 2500 people indirectly.
Due to the fact that the city of Baft is located in a less privileged area, the implementation of this factory is considered one of the largest industrial complexes of Baft and will cause development, development and job creation in this area. In fact, this project was handed over to the private sector in 1995 in accordance with principle 44, which was ready for operation with the entry of Mahan Holding, affiliated to the tourism finance group.

The main mission of Mahan Sirjan Company is to provide sustainable feed for the steel chain in Mahan Holding, and it plans to build a concentrate production plant with an annual capacity of 2.5 million tons in the coming year, in order to complete the holding’s steel chain.
